Chipmunk official album launch party announced at Proud2

Award-winning star CHIPMUNK celebrates the release of his highly-anticipated second album, TRANSITION on Friday 22nd April at Proud2 at the O2 Arena.

Looking to mark his 'Transition' in style, Chipmunk will be inviting his fans to party alongside him and his celebrity friends at the London venue. With performances from special guests including friend and top UK Artist, Skepta, not to mention Chip himself, this is a night not to miss.

The album's lead single, CHAMPION, featuring Chris Brown, was an epic re-entry into the music world, hitting number two. With other features including international superstars such as Jamaica's dancehall king Mavado, R&B Queen Keri Hilson, Kalenna Harper of Diddy Dirty Money, acclaimed singer Trey Songz and rising UK rapper and long time CHIPMUNK cohort, Wretch 32, TRANSITION looks set to be a monumental album.

Exuding confidence, a sharp sense of humour, and an astute analytical edge, the appropriately titled TRANSITION, sees CHIPMUNK return lyrically and sonically to his underground roots, with a record that is harder, darker and full of intricate lyrical complexities.

Following an extensive renovation, PROUD2 (fka, matter) provides the perfect scene for CHIPMUNK's return. The complete overhaul of the venue's former industrial-style interior has seen the 3,000 capacity superclub transformed into a decadent, glamorous nightspot with one of the best outdoor terrace bars in The City.
